The story behind

He didn't write music. He wrote memories.

Somewhere below the maestro's hands, a lone figure walks into a desert sunset. You have seen that desert before — not with your eyes, but with your ears. Ennio Morricone scored the myths of an entire century: the whistle before the duel, the harmonica that meant a debt unpaid, the silence in between that meant everything else.

This drawing catches the moment of translation: an old man bent over his work, quietly deciding what the legend will sound like. The cowboy below him doesn't know he is walking inside a melody. Neither did we.

The process

Drawn by hand. Nothing digital.

Each piece begins with an archival fineliner and weeks of hatching — thousands of intersecting strokes laid down one at a time, with no undo and no layers. There is no tablet and no filter at any stage of the original: heavyweight cotton paper, permanent lightfast ink. What you see is exactly what the pen left behind.

One drawing takes longer than most people spend reading the novel that inspired it.

Which paper is used?

The original pieces are drawn in 100% cotton paper 300gsm, and the fine art prints are made on archival cotton paper designed to last for decades without fading.

When will my artwork arrive?

Each piece is prepared and packaged carefully before shipping.

How is my artwork packed for shipping?

Every artwork is carefully packaged with two priorities in mind: protection and presentation. Unframed works travel flat between rigid boards; framed works are corner-protected and boxed.
